Rural Livestock Property in Bingegang
Proven Prime Land in a Prime Location
- Land: 3,296 acres (1,333.84 ha)
Centrally located between the service towns of Blackwater, Dingo and Middlemount, Maynes is a subdivision of the well-regarded Central Queensland property - Bingegang. Approximately 2 hours to Emerald and 2.5 hours to Rockhampton, the property is accessed via the Fitzroy Developmental Rd (sometimes referred to as the Dingo - Mt Flora Rd).
Consisting of 1334 ha* (3296 ac*) of Freehold land, Maynes consists of cleared Brigalow country, comprising of black soil flats, rising through to a sand ridge split into 5 paddocks. Predominantly Buffel and presently carrying a good body of feed it is available for immediate stocking. The landform is such that the whole property is utilised and safely carries 300 breeders with progeny or the equivalent for backgrounding or fattening. Some land is well suited to cropping and has been used for this purpose in the past.
Reliable water is sourced via 1.35km* of Mackenzie River frontage and a dam which has recently been desilted and significantly enlarged. A solar pump delivers the river water to a 10,000gal tank which services 3 troughs, 2 of which are in watering squares.
Not far from the dam at the southern end of the property is a set of portable steel cattle yards, with a distance of only 0.7km to the main sealed road. Two SWER (Single Wire Earth Return) power lines run from the nearby Bingegang Substation, across the property to the eastern boundary. With the possibility to tap into the power, a more than ample supply of water and an expansive view from the sand ridge, the choice for a house site, if required, is made easy.
Maynes is a very productive working property in the highly sought-after Mackenzie River District in Central Queensland.
